Hatespire In Competition to play with Insomnium and Dark Tranquillity!
Hatespire have been accepted to be entered into a competition for a chance to support the legendary Dark Tranquillity and Insomnium, two of the bands main influences. Hatespire Gig at Nag's Head in High Wycombe 24th June!
Hatespire will be playing a gig in The Nag's Head in High Wycombe on the 24th of June. The rest of the bands playing that night are to be confirmed. We are hoping to play some new material at this gig, as well as giving you a chance to finally get hold of the demo. A night not to be missed!
Sunday, 7th March
Hatespire To Support Hekz on 29th April!
Hatespire will be playing our first gig ever on the 29th of April at Esquires in Bedford. We will be supporting Haze of Judgement and Hekz. Come along and show us your support!
We have also recently completed our line-up, and would like to welcome Phil Romeo (Ex-Nihilo) as our new bassist.
Monday, 15th February
New Song Now Online, Download Available
The final song for the demo has been released and can now be listened to on MySpace or
Facebook, or downloaded from the Media section of the website.
We plan to get the demo finalised ready to be printed, and then we will start selling them.
We have also had two new additions to the band, Marcello on keys and Nathan on drums. We
are stilll looking for a bassist so if you know one please email us.

Next Song Recorded, Soon To Be Mixed
We have decided to focus on one last song for the demo rather than two. We have finished recording everything for this song, and it will be mixed within the next few weeks. We are just waiting on Phil to get a new pc, then it shouldn't be long. We'll keep you posted..
This will be the final song for the demo, and once it has been released we will be arranging ways for you to get the whole thing.

Two New Songs Nearly Finished!
We have been working on two new songs, and we hope to have them finished and recorded by the end of this week. Keep an eye out for them! Also as we are recording we will record the last part of the studio diary for our demo.

Next Song Up Now, 'Tranquillity'!
The next song for our demo is now up online. You can once again find it by following the links to the right; MySpace, Facebook or Last.fm, or you can download it from the Media section of our site. Please leave us comments so we know what you think!
We will now spend the next week working intesively on the rest of the demo and hope to return to the studio on 7th Sep to finish it. More news to follow..

Next Song Up Tonight!
We have been working away in the studio and have finished the recording the music for our next track. We'll be going back today to do the vocals, and if all goes to plan it should be up by this evening.

I'd just like to say thank you to Phil for letting us use his personal studio to record the vocals for Scartraced. He also did backing vocals for the song on the last chorus.
Expect our next song to be out by the end of the week.

First Track (without Vocals) Online
You can now listen to the track 'Scartraced' online, minus the vocals! This is the first track we have recorded for the album. We will record the vocals when we aquire a good microphone, one way or another. Listen to it here.

'Scartraced' Recording
Most of 'Scartraced' music is recorded. Solo by Pratt needs to be written then recorded, and then we're on to finalising the lyrics and recording the vocals.
